Recover access to your BrandMeister account

If you can no longer access the email address on your BrandMeister account and you also do not know your BrandMeister password, you can update the BrandMeister account email address through RadioID first.

This is useful when you cannot log in to BrandMeister Dashboard to change the email address yourself.

When to use this

Use this process if:

• your BrandMeister account email address no longer works;
• you do not know your BrandMeister password;
• you cannot access BrandMeister Dashboard to change your email address;
• your RadioID account has the email address you want to use for BrandMeister.

This also works if your BrandMeister account is still waiting for approval. Updating the email address does not approve the account automatically.

Step 1: Open RadioID

Go to:

https://radioid.net

Log in to your RadioID account.

Step 2: Open your profile menu

Click the profile icon in the top-right corner of the page.

Step 3: Go to BrandMeister integrations

From your profile menu, open:

Integrations → BrandMeister

Step 4: Update your BrandMeister account email

Find the integration named:

Update My BM Account Email

This integration sends your current RadioID email address to BrandMeister for the selected BrandMeister DMR account.

To update the email address:

1. Select the RadioID DMR identity you want to update.

2. Check the confirmation box:

   I understand BrandMeister will receive and store my current RadioID email address for the selected BM account.

3. Click Update My BM Account Email.

Step 5: Request a BrandMeister password reset

After BrandMeister accepts the email update, go to the BrandMeister dashboard and request a password reset.

Use the updated email address from your RadioID account when requesting the password reset.

Accounts waiting for approval

You can also use Update My BM Account Email if your BrandMeister account has not been approved yet.

This only updates the email address associated with the selected BrandMeister DMR account. It does not approve the BrandMeister account.

After updating the email address, you may still need to wait for the normal BrandMeister approval process to complete. This can take approximately 24 hours.

Summary

1. Go to radioid.net.
2. Click the profile icon in the top-right corner.
3. Open Integrations → BrandMeister.
4. Find Update My BM Account Email.
5. Select the RadioID DMR identity to update.
6. Check the confirmation box.
7. Click Update My BM Account Email.
8. Request a password reset from the BrandMeister dashboard.
9. Wait for account approval if your BrandMeister account is still pending.
